Last month,I was nestled in an appropriately named guest house -‘Egret Park” in Thoraipakkam Chennai. This forms a part of the Pallikaranai biosphere, mauled beyond repair with concrete eyesores.
Right behind the guest house, there is a narrow path leading to a swamp. Early risers will be able to spot a wide variety of birds.
