FUNDACAO ORIENTE ART GALLERY, Panjim, Goa.
Located in Fontainhas, popularly known as ‘ Latin Quarters’, this art gallery features works of an Indian painter ANTONIO XAVIER TRINDADE acclaimed by art critics as the ‘REMBRANDT of the EAST’.
I am no connoisseur but a walk around the gallery revealed so much beauty.
Anotonio Xavier TRINDADE was a student of one of the earlier batches of Sir JJ Art School, Mumbai where he taught later.
I was especially captivated by ‘ The Armenian Sisters’.
